Society
We are recovering addicts who meet regularly to help each other stay clean. The International Society "Narcotics Anonymous" has existed since 1953. The first group in Ukraine held a meeting in 1991. Today, more than 63,000 meetings of the Academy of Sciences are held every week in 137 countries of the world. More than 200 meetings per week are regularly held in Ukraine, in 29 cities. In Poltava and Kotelva, 5 groups hold approximately 15 meetings weekly
Purpose
This program is based on complete abstinence from the use of all types of drugs. There is only one requirement for membership - a desire to stop using drugs.

Participation
The only condition for membership in Narcotics Anonymous is a desire to stop using.
You have no obligations to "AN". We are not affiliated with other organizations, charge no entry or membership fees, and require no oaths or promises. We are not affiliated with or supervised by any political, religious or law enforcement groups.

Our meetings are available for any addict daily. If you personally do not have a problem with drugs, but you are interested in the experience of recovery in the Society "Narcotics Anonymous", then we hold "open" meetings especially for you.
Meetings
Everyone can join us, regardless of age, nationality, sexual orientation, beliefs, religion or lack thereof. NA meetings welcome any addict for whom drugs have become a serious problem. It doesn't matter where we came from, how we were raised, and what we do - the doors of the Academy of Sciences are open to us.
PROGRAM
The therapeutic value of helping one addict to another has no analogues. We are a non-professional Society and we use everything that helps the recovery of other addicts who have learned to live without drugs with the help of Narcotics Anonymous. Our recovery was made possible by the principles known as the Twelve Steps of Narcotics Anonymous.
RELIGION
Narcotics Anonymous is a spiritual but non-religious program. The right to God in its personal sense is common to everyone, there are no tricks in this.
This means that addicts of various faiths from various denominations, as well as atheists and agnostics, come to the Society.
